Engine Bay Coating / Lacquer / Dressing

100% cosmetic spray that attracts dust. NOT in any OEM Owner's Manual. Removing it has ZERO effect on your warranty.

AC Disinfection / 3M Germ Kleen / Sanitization

High-margin dealer aerosol spray (₹100 can billed at ₹900-₹1,600). Replacing your ₹400 Cabin AC Filter is all the OEM manual requires.

Engine Flush / Oil or Fuel Additive

Modern BS6 API SP oils already contain detergents. Maruti, Hyundai & Tata manuals explicitly state supplementary oil additives are NOT recommended.

Premature Throttle Body / Injector Cleaning

Unless your car has rough idling or an engine warning light, injector/throttle cleaning is NOT a periodic maintenance item under 40,000 km.

Dealer Detailing / Underbody / Silencer Coating Upsell

Modern cars come with factory anti-corrosion dip coating. Dealerships mark up 3M coatings by 300% to hit monthly VAS targets.

Padded Consumables / Washer Fluid / Terminal Spray

Basic hinge/battery greasing is part of standard PMS service. Never pay ₹300-₹600 for vague 'Consumables' or shampoo pouches.
